The Gluch Group is headed up by our founder, John Gluch (www.johngluch.com), and our COO Jeremy Lentine. Throughout our 8-year history, John and Jeremy have personally implemented and managed all of the company's growth initiatives. The Gluch Group has now grown beyond John and Jeremy's capacity to implement new ideas and manage the team and the time has come to bring on a world-class Operations Manager. As Operations Manager, you will work hand in hand with John and Jeremy to propel the Gluch Group to its next stage of growth.

What You Will Do

  • Work hand in hand with our COO Jeremy as his "Number 1".

  • Implement 3-5 high-level ideas (projects) each quarter (see video above for examples).

  • Manage approximately 5 direct reports. Direct reports will be both internal team members charged with assisting your efforts and outside specialized contractors.

  • Improve company KPIs.

  • Partner with John and Jeremy to create quarterly and yearly strategies designed to further the mission of the Gluch Group.

  • Hold yourself and your reports accountable to quarterly objectives and KPIs.

  • Remove big obstacles to company growth.

  • Lead cross-department integration and cohesion.

Experience / Skills You Need

  • Strong leadership skills including high levels of emotional intelligence are critical. Empathy, radical candor, integrity, and a servant's heart are integral to this role.

  • A strong ability to stay true to the current team objectives and say no to new ideas and distractions is required.

  • Ultra-high levels of responsibility are required. You must be the kind of person who wakes up every day wondering what you can rip out of Jeremy's hands knowing that your taking over will deliver a better result.

  • Self-confidence and strong self-worth are a must. You will have to deliver hard news, say no, be a sounding board, and help clean up messes on a regular basis. It's critical that you have the ability to separate other people's problems from your own self-worth.

  • A strong understanding of marketing is a huge plus. Real estate agents are a commodity and as such our value lies primarily in our brand equity. We are strong marketers and many of our new objectives each quarter are marketing projects.

  • Strong project management skills. A huge part of this job is integrating 3-5 new ideas each quarter. We are a small company so much of the work required for those projects will need to be done directly by you or outsourced. You must be a quick learner who is super resourceful.

  • Residential real estate experience is a plus but not required.

  • Tech Savvy. We are an international team and operate on dozens of tech platforms.

  • Thrive under pressure.

  • Highly assertive with a history of performing well under pressure when the stakes are high.

  • Pride in work with an obsession for efficiency and a desire for constant improvement.

  • A strong drive to improve processes and policies in support of team goals.

  • Excellent organizational, filing, time management, and prioritization skills.
